Proteinase K
Proteinase K is a non-specific serine protease with a very high specific activity. It is active with or without the presence of SDS, EDTA and Urea over a wide range of pH (4-12.5). Applications: isolation of high molecular weight DNA, isolation of RNA or the isolation of plasmid and genomic DNA.
